Me

I like helping people achieve their goals, giving information, and teaching people skills around finances. One of my own skills I’ve honed over the years is my ability to see the bigger perspective. I give my aunt a lot of credit for helping me apply this to the financial world. She worked for a bank and was the first person who taught me about being responsible with the money I started earning as a young teenager. She also taught me it was easier to lose it than to make it, which I have personally learned the hard way in the past (I’ve had my fair share of beater cars). Making short, medium and long term goals were principles she instilled in me in those teenage years; goals like opening my first bank account, buying cars, buying a house etc. These are skills that I have learned and integrated into my own life and are what I am now sharing with my clients.

I was born in Wales and moved to the US when I was in my 20’s. I knew the fundamentals of money, but I had to learn the system, as it is quite different than in the UK. I had to start from scratch and so I know what a daunting task that can be. Because I knew the fundamentals, the rest was a lot of reading and learning. I spoke with bankers and financial advisors to learn more about how the system works and as I learned, I discovered not many people know how the system works here. I love researching and have learned quite a lot about different aspects of finances over the last decade. More recently I trained with a master coach to help me on my coaching journey.

I’m stoked to be able to take all of my experience and knowledge and share with others. Seeking knowledge and gaining experience is something I am very passionate about and I am excited that you have taken the first steps in your journey to financial freedom by checking out my page. I hope that in sharing some of my financial journey, it can inspire you on yours. I would love to be a part of your financial freedom, contact me to start that journey to freedom today!
